Adamson luggage has an in-store repair service for luggage, briefcases, handbags, etc. Quick turn around. Parts can be ordered from manufacturers where available. Wide range of parts kept in store. We can repair tears and rips with leather panels. We can repair zips and replace zip sliders. Repair costs vary according to difficulty, time and parts but below is a list of average prices for repairs we do:

• ZIPS: While we are not always able to replace zips, if the teeth are only damaged in one place or if the sliders are missing then we can repair them. To replace zip sliders it costs €20 for one or two for €30.
• Wheels: €15 to €25
• Handles: €15 to €30
• Retractable handles (trolley systems): €20 to €35
• Combo opening: €6.50
• New lock: €18 to €40 depending on fitting
• Tears can be repaired with leather panels varying in price from about €20 to €35

Most popular brands like Samsonite, Delsey, Antler, Travelpro and others supply parts for their luggage and we would stock a lot of these parts. We can order in some parts but this can take about a week on average.

Know your Warranty:

Most Luggage Brands have warranties that cover manufacturer defects. This does not cover airline damage, normal wear and tear or damage through misuse of the bag.

Estimate service

There is an estimate service available to customers seeking to claim from their travel insurance or claiming from airlines with whom we have no account. The charge for an estimate is €8.00, which we will refund if you purchase the replacement bag from our shop. Please note: estimates cannot be given without an examination of the damaged bag, i.e. you are required to bring the damaged bag into the shop for examination.
