Payments & Security
What is 3D Secure?
At Adamson Luggage we want to make certain that your internet purchases are as secure as possible so we have brought you 3D Secure to our website.
3D Secure is a free and automatic online security service that has been created to help guard your Bank of Ireland Credit Card against unauthorised use online. 3D Secure works by using a password that you create as your unique online identifier. You then use your 3D Secure Password to validate online transactions with participating online retailers. This helps to protect you from unauthorised use when spending online.
NOTE: If the cardholder address and the delivery address differ on your order, we may need to contact you to perform additional security checks.
All of our web based transactions are processed through Realex Payments. Realex Payments are Ireland's leading real-time payment processing company, processing transactions securely for hundreds of companies both in Ireland and Internationally. The transactions are fully encrypted using secure coding and Realex Payments are compliant with the payments card industry to the highest level.
Realex Payments have been accredited with the AIS (Account Information Security) certification by VISA and is one of the few companies in Europe to achieve this. This shows their commitment to above industry standard in every aspect of payment processing.
Realex is fully PCI compliant to the highest level of PCI, and was one of the first PSP’s in Europe to deliver this with Level 1 certification achieved in October 2003. They appeared on the VISA website as a case study on implementing the PCI DSS.
Information is sent to Realax from businesses via the internet and they connect to financial institutions with whom they are fully certified and approved.
All information when in transit via the internet is encrypted (128bit SSL) to ensure confidentiality of sensitive data.
All messages sent to us and the responses from Realax are authenticated using digitally signed digests.
All requests are verified against a legal list of IP address and referring URLs.
